Mukund Jha |
Yamuna flooding has led to dirty water entering houses and streets, creating a stench and threat of diseases.

The situation in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri has worsened due to the flooding of Yamuna river. Dirty water has entered houses and streets, due to which the entire area has turned into a pond.

It has become difficult for people to leave their homes and the market of D Block has had to be closed. People are living in the dark due to power cut.

The spread of dirty water from the drain is creating a stench and threat of diseases. The excess water released from the Hathnikund Barrage is further increasing the water level of the Yamuna, which has aggravated the threat of floods in Delhi. A Newsclick ground report.
