Thousands gathered in Mumbai’s Azad Maidan and Delhi’s Jantar Mantar to condemn Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
On August 20, 2025, over 1,000 people gathered at the ‘India Stands with Palestine’ rally at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, where civil society organisations, human rights activists and the general public protested against the ongoing Israeli attacks and genocide in Gaza.
After this, on August 22, various organisations and activists took out a peaceful rally at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and expressed solidarity with Palestine.
